Charlie Brown is a marketing specialist with nearly thirty years of experience in branding, sales and marketing, database marketing and fulfilment, customer services, and retail. He has built and developed highly successful sales and marketing operations in the legal, financial services, mail order and collectible sectors. 

He has managed a number of brands and their development, from B2B and professional services to mail order and financial services.
Charlie has introduced and developed database segmentation for various companies, large and small, increasing sales and returns on investment. He has produced effective database and direct marketing campaigns for many organisations.  Effective in terms of meeting and/or exceeding targets for sales or customer retention and satisfaction.
His achievements include:
·         Increasing sales by around 20% for one professional services company;
·         Improving the average annual subscription values for another in excess of 6% per annum, despite subscriber numbers falling by circa 5% per annum;
·         Increasing sales and ROI for a mail order wine business;
·         Turning a small French retail operation from a loss maker into a profit maker within one year;
·         Building a clothing mail order operation, doubling turnover and making it profitable in year one.
 
He has extensive experience in restructuring and implementing changes to sales and marketing operations. He has successfully managed field sales and telemarketing forces.
 
Charlie has also conducted full scale product reviews and introduced improvements to sales and marketing personnel and processes.

He has led, managed and developed teams and individuals, from field sales teams to call centre staff to marketing personnel, training and developing individuals and teams of up to 40+ members.
