Joy McKenzie
Joy McKenzie is the best-selling author, journalist, TV presenter and entrepreneur, with an extensive background in networking. She has hosted hundreds of events over the years from business networking events to award ceremonies, notably, the ‘idea’ (International Design Eco Award), the annual award programme, established to promote and reward ecological design and innovation. Nominated for two EFBWBO Awards, ‘Young Entrepreneur’ and ‘Innovation’, Joy has successfully integrated theory with practice, creatively conceptualising and directing new ideas. She is often head-hunted for her particular expertise in ‘strategic thinking’, essentially to customise concepts, methods and processes which create a clear focus and direction for businesses. Her more recent activities have included hosting a series of high-powered ‘Business Breakfast’ events at London’s Blue Bird Club in Chelsea. In 2002, Joy was voted as ‘Networker of the Year’ by the New Statesman magazine and was featured in a special article. n 2003 Joy founded ‘The Millionaires Club’, aimed at entrepreneurs worldwide. As President of the club Joy is responsible for looking after members by providing opportunities for them to further their business interests, as well as lifestyle and leisure pursuits.
